LAFC Knocks out Club American

The Los Angeles Football Club beat 3 Mexican Teams to advance to the CONCACAF Champions League final. This marks the first time in its history an MLS team has advance to the final.

Club American was the first to score in the 12th minute of the game. Sebastián Cáceres made a header strait into the goal from the corner kick. During the added time in the first half, Eduard Atuesta received a red card and was ejected. The Club America Manager Miguel Herrera also received a red card and was rejected.

During the first minute of the second half, LAFC Captain Carlos Vela receives a pass and immediately scores; 90 seconds after scoring, Vela receives another pass and punish the Club America team at the exact same spot to his second goal of the match.

Latif Blessing who came on in the second half scored the third and final goal of the match to seal the win during added time

LAFC now has the opportunity to become the first MLS team to win a CONCACAF Champions League winner title.
