The film is set to debut in July 2019. Spielberg teased that he was preparing for production of this back in early 2015. He has mentioned that he would like actor Chris Pratt to be involved.

“Indiana Jones is one of the greatest heroes in cinematic history, and we can’t wait to bring him back to the screen in 2019,” Walt Disney Studios chairman Alan Horn said in a statement. “It’s rare to have such a perfect combination of director, producers, actor and role, and we couldn’t be more excited to embark on this adventure with Harrison and Steven.”

Ford is enjoying an resurgence from old roles, with his success in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and his upcoming turn in a sequel  of Blade Runner Due in 2008. Indiana jones last cracked his whip in 2008’s Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull.
