HP To Cut 30,000 Jobs?

HP CEO Meg Whitman told CNN that there will be layoffs and on Tuesday, the company announced plans to cut 25,000 to 30,000 jobs.  “the latest job cuts will enable a more competitive, sustainable cost structure” for the new company, Meg Whitman said.

HP will also be splitting into two companies, HP Enterprises and HP, Inc.  HP Enterprises will focused more on cloud-based services and cyber security while HP, Inc focuses on computers and printers.
