When the NBC reality series “America’s Got Talent” returns in the summer of 2016, it will have a dramatically different look. Simon Cowell has agreed to join the cast for season 11 of the show as Howard Stern exits. Cowell, famous for his brutal and biting honesty towards “American Idol” contestants, knows the show’s format better than almost anyone, having brought both the UK and US versions of “X Factor” to millions of television screens as well as his tenure at AI. Cowell also serves as an Executive Producer of AGT. With AGT enjoying some of its highest ratings is a while, adding Cowell will make this show a home run.
