Orlando Magic Dominate Milwaukee For Winning Month

The Orlando Magic continued it’s strong performance after head coach Scott Skiles changing the team lineup this week by dominating the Milwaukee Bucks with a win, 114-90. Victor Oladipo continued to energize the Magic’s second unit with another solid performance from the bench with 17 points, six rebounds, and nine assists.

The Magic broke their usual weak third quarter trend by dominating the third quarter. A noisy crowd at the Amway Center saw Orlando hit 13 of 16 shots in the third period, including all six of its 3-pointers to break open a close game. The Magic led a Bucks team that it figures to battle all season for a postseason berth by as much as 29 points in the lopsided second half.

The Magic also had solid performances from Elfrid Payton with a double-double performance: 22 points and 10 assists, as well as strong performances from Tobias Harris and Evan Fournier.

This win brings the magic to a 8-6 record, giving them their first winning record for a month since March 2012.

The Magic next face the red hot Boston Celtics at the Amway Arena in Orlando on Sunday.
