Music Review: Virtue Is Back!

The dynamic musical trio Virtue is back after a 10 year absence with the new album “Fearless”.

The 14-track collection is loaded with strong production. Super producers Fred Jerkins (Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston), Mark Kibble (Take 6, BeBe & CeCe Winans), and more give this album a wide variety of flavors. FEARLESS features the current radio single “Miracle,” the Top 20 radio single “You Are” and so much more.

24FLIX was at the Virtue listening party during Stellar Awards weekend in Las Vegas and we were treated to previews from the record. The crowd bounced to the uptempo tracks and basked in the pure harmonies that the sisters (yes, Karima, Heather, and Ebony are actually blood sisters.)

After years of performing, recording, and touring in gospel music, they took some time to live life and grow their families. But when God gives you gifts, there’s always a pull to make it happen. Even though the ladies live in separate cites, the got together and made this album happen.

The album takes you from the gospel banger “Who Are We” over to the free flowing and easy “Free” and then back to church with the current hit “Miracle.” A favorite at the listening party was the remake of the Pop ballad “More Than Words” (first performed by the rock band Extreme).

Fearless is currently in stores. Be sure to add this album your listening collection.
