TAMPA, FL – The Tampa Bay Buccaneers ran through Thursday’s training camp sessions, they are ready to face the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday at Raymond James Stadium and see what they can do.

Quarterback Tom Brady and the Bucs have been hard at work for the past few weeks of training camp, getting back in shape, getting back in sync, and working the new players.

He explained this while talking to the press with a hoarse voice.

“I have to get my voice in shape too along with my legs and everything else.” he laughed. “It feels pretty good in the morning and by the time practice ends [it goes away]. You’re barking out signals and there are a lot of people out here. Other than that, [I’m] feeling really strong and really good.”

Brady’s offseason knee surgery and rehab have in feeling good this preseason.

“It’s the first time in 14 years that I haven’t had to wear a knee sleeve.” said Brady. “It’s just nice to practice and feel like I can put a pair of shorts on and run out to practice. It’s good though. Like I said, physically feeling great, mentally in a good place.”

Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians said that Brady will be starting Saturday’s game, even with the possibility of heavy rain from Tropical Storm Fred.

“I’m ready for the ball game. I like where we’re at.” said Arians. “I’m excited to see them play, see where they’re at, the the lights come on. especially the young guys.

“We would be concerned about the filed conditions, not the rain.”

Theres a lot of attention on first round draft pick Kyle Trask and his progress in camp.

“Kyle doing a great job.” Said Brady. “From the day that he got here he’s a very hard worker. Gets here early, stays late. All of the things that you’re looking for in a young player.”

“For Kyle, we’re just looking for the basics.” Said Arians. ” He processed information extremely well, so Get him in and out of the huddle, get em lined up and let’s roll. Avoid pre-snap penalties. We didn’t see any of that stuff out here so we don’t to see that in the game.”

“Growing up watching NFL football, having a chance to play on any NFL Game, I’m super excited.” Said Trask. “Just looking forward to the opportunity to play and do the best I can.”

The Bucs cycled through all four of their in-camp quarterbacks, Brady, Blaine Gabbert, and Trask as the manned the helm on a variety of different pass and run plays, wide receiver quick outs to deep routs, inside runs to screens and half back receptions.

“I have a lot of confidence in our team.” Said Brady. “I’ve played with our guys for a year now. I know what its like in the huddle with them and I know how we can put together a plan and go out there and be successful.”

The squad did a variety of situations with motion, shirt yardage and deep passes, preparing to be able to test the team this Saturday and see where they are in the preparation process.
