Daytona Beach, Fla. (July 2, 2022) – Torneos and Daytona International Speedway are bringing new flavor to this year’s 4th of July celebration with DAYTONA Soccer Fest, a one-of-a-kind event including world-class entertainment and professional soccer to the iconic venue known for the annual DAYTONA 500 race.
The reglementary soccer field built for the first time in history in the infield of the World Center of Racing, is holding this never-seen before event with soccer competitions, music and a family-friendly wide array of entertainment. Cutting- edge equipment was used in the construction of the soccer field, including 30 state-of-the-art robots and lasers to perfect the field, which requires 1800 transported in 300 trucks from Orlando to Daytona Beach.
Latin Grammy Award-winning and Puerto Rican music sensation, Rauw Alejandro, wrapped the activities for day one of this unique experience with an epic performance in front a lively crowd, singing his recent hits including “Todo De Ti”, “Caprichoso” and “Desesperados”, among other mega-hits.
