No stranger to Meryl Streep’s witchy ways, Emily Blunt’s first breakout performance came in 2006’s The Devil Wears Prada. Now she’s putting her vocal chops to the test and wowing audiences as The Baker’s Wife in the movie musical Into the Woods. This is her fifth Golden Globe nomination; she previously won for her performance in Gideon’s Daughter.

Ralph Fiennes (The Grand Budapest Hotel) – Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy

Monsieur Gustave H., the legendary concierge who chaperoned The Grand Budapest Hotel through her glory days of the 1930s, is Wes Anderson’s homage to the Austrian novelist Stefan Zweig. But it’s Ralph Fiennes’ quirky, confident performance that brings the role – and the film – to life. This is Fiennes’ fourth Golden Globe nomination, and one of four for the film.

Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl) – Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama
