Country superstar Blake Shelton is suing the tabloid magazine over a story that claims his divorce came due to his heavy drinking and he was going to rehab. In his lawsuit file in LA, he’s claiming the $1 million for damages over the false story.
The 39 year old has confirmed and he and Miranda Lambert is headed to divorce court. They released a statement via the Associated Press “This is not the future we envisioned. And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.”
