LaBron James has signed a lifetime endorsement deal with Mega-brand Nike. Details of the deal were not released, however it has been said that the deal is multiple times larger than the $30 per year deal with Oklahoma City Thunder Player Kevin Durant.
James has been under the Nike umbrella since before his NBA debut with the Cleveland Cavaliers. In 2003 he signed a seven-year deal with the company worth a little over $90 million. Lebron was only 18, and it was seen as a gamble on a new player.
Lebron proved to be sure bet, becoming a dominant NBA player and four time league MVP. His signature shoe sold more than $340 million between February 2014 and January 2015.
