The 2018 International Christian Film & Music Festival continues to impress year after year; With nearly 5000 attendees, the event was a huge success. Many of the attendees we spoke with were very impress with the quality of people, the professionalism of the staff, the seminars and the red carpet and award ceremony.
The event brought lots of high profile celebrities such as the award wining band Newsboys, actor, director, author Kevin Sorbo, his wife Sam Sorbo, Bruce Marchiano (Encounter Series), T.C. Stallings (War Room), Cindy Bond (I can only imagine) to name few.
During the Oscar-style award ceremony, there were some very big winners including the event’s two top prizes. On the music end Christina Arnautov wins “Best Musical Artist” and will be performing at the 2018 Creation Festival on June 28, 2018 on the main stage. The festival attracts over twenty thousand attendees and it’s one of the largest Christian outdoor festival. The event will have acts such as TobyMac, For King and Country, Mandisa, KB and many more.
On the side of the movies, “Like Arrows” wins the best picture award. The film explores the joys and heartaches of parenting. Through a journey that unfolds over 50 years, Charlie and Alice discover the power of family, and learn that knowing and living by God’s word is the most important key to parenting with purpose. The executive producers of the film are Alex and Stephen Kendrick.
