LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL – Columbus Crew SC had no trouble dominating new comer FC Cincinnati 4-0 in last night’s match at the MLS is Back Tournament at Disney World in Florida.

After a weather delay held up the earlier game of the night, the Matches 10:30 part time was pushed back to 11:20. But if you were a Columbus Crew fan, it was worth the wait.

After kneeling before the match to honor the Black Lives Matter Movement, the two teams squared up for thehe first battle for Ohio, even though it was in Florida.

The Crew’s Gyasi Zardes scored a brace for the Crew after a stunning free kick from Lucas Zelarayan in the match.

Cincinnati’s Blue and Orange appeared un prepared with the defense reeling more and more as the match went on.

Zelarayan stated the scoring off in the 27th minute with a beautiful free kick from the corner of the box that  curved over the wall and into the upper right corner go the goal, bouncing in off of the post. Goalie Przemysław Tyton didn’t stand a chance.

Zardes then added the second just three minutes later, as the FC Cincy backline completely lost track of the US international striker, who took a through ball from Mokhtar and beat Tyton for an easy finish.

Zardes made it a brace in the 49th minute by taking a clean cross from Zelarayan and putting it in for a 3-0 lead. Zelarayan dominated the midfield for most of the match.

Youness Mokhtar closed the scoring in the 60th min with an easy score from inside the box. It looked like the Cincinnati side had given up at that point.

The match showed Cincinnati still battles with the shoddy defense of an expansion team, as the crew fulfilled expectations as a teal poised to do some damage this season.
