Tom Brady celebrates the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Super Bowl LV win over the Kansas City Chiefs on February, 7 2021 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL

TAMPA, FL – The Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9 in Super Bowl LV, Giving Tom Brady his 5th Super Bowl victory. Brady was also named MVP of the game.

Tampa dominated play by taking it slow and simple. The did not make any big plays, just doing what they do best, taking what the Chiefs gave them and marching up the field.

Tampa’s Defense dominated a hobbled Kansas City offense and took advantage of injuries to the Chiefs offensive line to make juggernaut Patrick Mahomes rush his throws , or run for his life.

Mahomes was also nursing a turf toe injury that he sustained in the AFC Championship win over the Buffalo Bills. The injury limited his mobility, which is one of his main weapons.

Tampa Defense Coordinator Todd Bowles also schemed to take away dynamic receiver Tyrik Hill, limiting him to well covered underneath throws and keeping his safety’s deep to eliminate big plays by the Chiefs.
